This is Kelch’s newest style 8 inch gas cap.
These Kelch gas caps have the new float rod retention system.
They also have Kelch’s newly designed float, that is much more resistant to ethanol.
These new Kelch gas caps are made proudly in the U.S.A.
The new fuel gauges fit a 2 1/4″ diameter filler neck with a buttress style thread at a rate of 5 per inch.
You will need a tank depth of at least 8 1/2″ for this 8″ long cap to work properly.
Be sure to measure your tank, from the top of the filler neck threads, straight down to the bottom of the tank.
