This is Kelch’s newest style gas cap made for the Polaris Sportsman. We had Kelch make these gas caps in a 7 1/2″ length, so they will fit on most Sportsman models. I cannot stress the following enough: PLEASE MEASURE YOUR TANK DEPTH! Measure from the top of the filler neck, straight down to the tank bottom, or first obstruction. The Sportsmans have a rise in the center of the tank bottom, so be sure to stay centered with the tape measure. All model years should be measured before ordering. The Sportsman tank depths run from 7″ to up to 9 1/2″, we have lengths available for all the depths. If you need a different length, just call us we have many lengths available.
